Account Executive, SMB

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing SaaS company in the fleet management and transportation technology space. Our client has experienced significant growth and is seeking driven Account Executives to join their SMB sales team. This is a remote position available anywhere in the United States, with optional access to their Birmingham, AL headquarters.

As an Account Executive, you'll work with a mix of inbound and outbound leads, conducting consultative sales with small and medium-sized businesses across diverse industries. You'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, leveraging web-based demos, strategic outreach, and solution-focused selling to drive new business growth.

Responsibilities

• Master the platform to become a trusted solution expert in fleet management software
• Conduct consultative sales engagements with SMB prospects to understand their operational challenges
• Generate new pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and other channels
• Deliver compelling web-based demos and presentations to prospects globally
• Maintain proactive and consistent follow-up with prospects throughout the sales cycle
• Negotiate pricing and close new business opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert high-impact prospects into long-term customers

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of SaaS sales experience; 1+ year in a closing role preferred
• Proven experience owning customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting through close
• Demonstrated success in both pipeline generation and inbound pipeline management
• Experience selling to multiple decision-makers and stakeholders within organizations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent presentation abilities
• Expert negotiation skills and the ability to close complex deals
• Disciplined time management and self-motivation in a remote environment
• Results-driven mindset with an outstanding work ethic
• Resourceful problem-solver who knows when to collaborate and ask for help
