About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the industrial processing sector who is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Team Leader (m/w/d) for their Frankfurt Höchst location. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to lead a specialized technical team in a dynamic operational environment.

As the E&I Team Lead, you will assume both technical and disciplinary leadership of the Electrical & Instrumentation team, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of all electrical, measurement, control, and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead E&I maintenance activities in collaboration with internal teams and external service providers, ensuring safe and efficient execution
• Ensure availability, reliability, and integrity of critical electrical, measurement, and automation systems
• Monitor and improve relevant maintenance KPIs in the areas of workplace safety, quality, and costs
• Support planning and execution of shutdowns, turnarounds, and major repair and optimization projects
• Develop and mentor your team both technically and personally, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Serve as the Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK) for the site

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training with advancement to Master/Specialist certification, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable field
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of professional experience in maintenance of electrical, measurement, control, or automation technology within chemical or process industry operations
• Strong knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and safety requirements, plus experience in contractor management
• Proven skills in fault analysis and troubleshooting for electrical, measurement, or automation systems
• Experience in maintenance planning, turnarounds, and leading larger teams and external partners
• Fluent German communication skills (minimum B2 level)
• Collaborative leadership style with strong EHS awareness and continuous improvement orientation
