About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential agtech client in their search for an Enterprise Sales Lead focused on the Northern Territory beef sector. This is a high-impact hunter role for someone who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with Australia's largest pastoral operations.

You'll be spearheading growth into the corporate market segment, building relationships with influential farming leaders while working directly with executive leadership. This role combines strategic account management, team leadership, and significant field time—expect to move between boardrooms in Brisbane, stockyards on station, and cross-functional planning sessions all in one week.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Sales Execution: Lead complex sales cycles with large, multi-dimensional beef operations. Navigate organizational structures to build trusting relationships at all levels while clearly communicating functionality, benefits, and value.
  • Team Building & Leadership: Scale the Northern Territory Enterprise organization with the right structure, talent density, and coaching infrastructure to support rapid growth.
  • Field Leadership: Spend two to three days per week in the field, conducting ride-alongs, deal reviews, and hands-on coaching. Model best practices and stay close to customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive Enterprise Accounts strategy. Run deep weekly reviews on pipeline health, forecast variance, territory performance, and productivity metrics.
  • Training & Development: Adapt existing sales processes to build training programs for the Enterprise Account team. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Translate customer insights into clear requirements for product, engineering, onboarding, and marketing teams. Build strong partnerships across the global organization.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Partner with leadership on monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting. Report key KPIs and optimize the sales process for speed, efficiency, and predictability.
  • Industry Networking: Build and leverage industry relationships to establish brand presence in the Northern Territory beef sector.

What We're Looking For

  • Hunter Mentality: You're energized by chasing and closing the largest accounts. When the pressure is on, you want to be in the game.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex negotiations, overcome objections, and structure multi-million dollar agreements.
  • Agricultural Knowledge: Deep understanding of beef operations, pastoral management practices, and the Australian livestock industry. You're comfortable in both the boardroom and the stockyards.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record building, coaching, and scaling high-performing sales teams. You align teams around strategy and deliver undeniable results.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate field insights into actionable strategy around territory design, role clarity, and coaching priorities.
  • Relationship Builder: Exceptional at building trusting relationships across all levels of farming organizations, from station managers to C-suite executives.
  • Field-First Approach: Willingness to spend significant time traveling across the Northern Territory, meeting customers where they are.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change. You thrive in high-stakes, fast-moving environments.
