Projektingenieur / Techniker Luftfahrttechnik (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aerospace engineering firm seeking a Project Engineer or Technical Specialist to support complex aviation projects from initial inquiry through final delivery. In this role, you will:

• Support the project lead in planning, coordinating, and implementing aviation sector projects
• Participate in tender processes, review technical requirements, and prepare necessary documentation
• Evaluate customer inquiries for technical feasibility and develop appropriate solution concepts
• Create and edit 3D models, technical drawings, manufacturing documentation, and project records
• Determine required materials, manufacturing processes, and labor requirements
• Support cost estimation and preparation of technical proposals
• Coordinate technical requirements and open questions with customers, suppliers, project leadership, and internal departments
• Accompany projects from inquiry through design and manufacturing to acceptance and completion
• Provide technical support to the workshop during practical implementation
• Monitor deadlines, technical requirements, and project status
• Document changes and technical decisions in a traceable manner

What We're Looking For

Education and Experience:

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Design Engineering, or comparable technical field; OR
• State-certified Technician qualification (e.g., Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering) with relevant professional experience
• Proven experience in design and creation of technical drawings
• Familiarity with modern 3D CAD systems

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of CATIA V5 and/or Autodesk Inventor is advantageous
• Familiarity with PolyWorks or industrial 3D measurement technology is desirable but not required
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and economic considerations

Working Style:

• Structured, careful, and self-directed work approach
• Confident communication skills and enjoyment working with diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Good German language skills and practical English proficiency for technical documentation and project communication
• Willingness to learn new systems and project-specific requirements

Aviation industry experience is beneficial, but our talent team prioritizes your technical understanding, design capabilities, and readiness to engage with demanding projects.

Position Details: Full-time, permanent role in Stade, Germany. No shift work required.
