Video Editor (LinkedIn Content)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the conversion optimization space. They need a talented video editor to create sharp, professional LinkedIn content focused on A/B testing, user experience, and data-driven marketing topics. This is founder-led content that transforms complex business concepts into engaging social videos.

Most projects include talking-head footage, screen recordings, website demonstrations, captions, charts, and simple motion graphics. You'll be turning raw material into polished content that hooks viewers and makes technical subjects accessible.

Responsibilities

• Edit short LinkedIn videos, typically 30 seconds to 3 minutes in length
• Transform raw footage into polished, engaging social media content
• Add captions, callouts, zooms, screenshots, charts, and simple motion graphics
• Apply clean, consistent color grading to maintain a premium look
• Enhance audio with basic sound design and leveling
• Make business and data-heavy topics feel clear and visually interesting
• Create strong openings that capture attention in the first few seconds
• Repurpose longer recordings into short-form clips
• Maintain a clean, data-driven brand style across all content
• Communicate clearly with a U.S.-based team and respond constructively to feedback

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social media video work
• Excellent sense of pacing, storytelling, captions, and visual hierarchy
• Experience editing talking-head, educational, or business content
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software
• Good written English communication skills
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

Nice to Have:

• Experience with B2B, SaaS, marketing, design, or tech content
• Motion graphics or After Effects capabilities
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and YouTube editing styles and best practices
• Interest in A/B testing, conversion optimization, UX, or digital marketing
