Senior User Researcher

We are representing a fast-growing health technology company that is reimagining how people engage with healthcare and prevention. Our client has built an integrated platform serving over a million members across Europe and is scaling rapidly with a team of 800+ professionals.

We're seeking a Senior User Researcher to join their product organization in Paris. This role sits at the heart of product development, ensuring every decision is grounded in genuine user needs and real-world insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute research studies across the full product lifecycle, including interviews, diary studies, surveys, and usability testing
• Gather and prioritize critical research questions from product, design, and engineering teams
• Transform research findings into clear, actionable insights that drive product decisions
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and data science teams to build a complete understanding of user behavior
• Help build and strengthen research culture across the organization
• Mentor teammates and share research best practices
• Communicate complex findings in compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience as a product or user researcher in a tech environment
• Strong hands-on expertise in qualitative methods: interviews, diary studies, think-aloud usability testing, and direct observation
• Solid quantitative research skills including survey design, sampling, crosstabs, and core statistical concepts
• Sharp critical thinking with the ability to identify high-value research opportunities and scope them efficiently
• Strategic mindset and proven ability to partner with product stakeholders, communicating research value and tying findings to business impact
• Compelling communication skills with the ability to turn complex findings into clear narratives
• Experience mentoring junior researchers or non-researchers with clear, actionable feedback
• Familiarity with AI and LLM systems—either through building AI products or following the space closely
• Genuine interest in healthcare and prevention (this is essential to our client)
• English fluency, written and spoken
• French, Spanish, or another European language is a plus

Location: Paris, France. This role requires being onsite twice per week.
