Senior Fullstack Developer (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential adtech organization seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join their Partner Operations team in Hamburg. Our client operates at significant scale, supporting hundreds of millions of users globally through sophisticated backend microservices and modern web platforms. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise partnerships and platform reliability, where you'll build diagnostic tooling, resolve production issues, and create custom integrations that directly impact business-critical relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features across modern web and server applications using Golang and TypeScript/React
• Design and implement reliability-first microservices architecture across globally distributed data centers
• Develop high-impact diagnostic tooling to automate root-cause resolution across client-side and microservice systems
• Optimize frontend-to-backend communication using REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, and HTTP protocols
• Create performant, UX-optimized web and mobile frontends with seamless API integration
• Improve existing code, API interfaces, and architecture for maximum efficiency and scalability
• Participate in thorough code reviews to maintain quality standards and provide constructive feedback
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team technical growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional international teams to unblock strategic launches and resolve critical production issues
• Ship solutions multiple times daily in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience building modern full-stack web and server applications
• Strong proficiency with Golang for backend development and TypeScript/React for frontend work
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Deep knowledge of API design and optimization across multiple communication protocols
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable code following SOLID and DRY principles
• Experience applying common design patterns (HOC, factory pattern, etc.) to keep platforms modular
• Track record of participating in code reviews and mentoring junior team members
• Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse roles and international teams
• Passion for staying current with full-stack trends, tools, and technologies
• Bonus: Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ALB, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB) or other languages like PHP, Java, or Python
• Location: Hamburg, Germany (relocation support available for international candidates)
