Software Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded logistics technology company building AI solutions for a traditional $200B+ industry. Our client has secured significant Series A funding and is working with leading global organizations to transform how supply chain operations are managed. Their platform is live in production, processing substantial transaction volumes weekly.

We're seeking Software Engineers across three specializations: Product, AI, and Platform. This is a chance to work on complex real-world problems where AI meets operations, building systems that people depend on daily.

Responsibilities

You will build and ship production systems that operate across the full technology stack using Python, TypeScript, and React. Working directly with customers and leadership, you'll contribute to product decisions and architectural direction.

Depending on your specialization:

• Product focus: Build user-facing applications for core industry workflows, partnering directly with customers to understand their needs and translating requirements into intuitive products
• AI focus: Develop and optimize machine learning systems for high-volume classification, extraction, and complex multi-hour workflows, with emphasis on performance, reliability, and explainability
• Platform focus: Own infrastructure supporting thousands of concurrent agents and workflows, including runtime systems, inter-service communication, data access controls, permissions, and observability tooling

All engineers work across the stack, but you'll spend most time in your area of expertise while collaborating with teammates in theirs.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrable expertise in at least one technical domain, with evidence of exceptional work (we hire on trajectory, not years of experience)
• Strong computer science fundamentals and proven experience shipping production systems that users depend on
• Track record of taking ownership of ambiguous problems, making decisions, and executing end-to-end
• Intellectual humility and willingness to change your mind based on evidence
• Interest in applying technology to complex real-world operational problems
• Ability to work in-person in London 4+ days per week

Freight or logistics experience is not required, but you should find messy, real-world operations problems engaging rather than frustrating.
