Senior Product Manager – AI/ML

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential database technology organization seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead their AI and machine learning product initiatives. This role sits at the cutting edge of agentic analytics, where large language models meet high-performance data infrastructure. You'll own the strategic direction and execution of products that enable developers and enterprises to deploy AI agents against production analytical workloads.

Based in Germany, this position offers the autonomy to drive products from initial discovery through launch and iteration, working closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams in a globally distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for agentic analytics capabilities, ensuring best-in-class experiences from conception to launch
• Conduct continuous customer discovery with developers, data engineers, and platform teams to translate feedback into clear product priorities
• Define and prioritize features that enhance agent accuracy, performance, cost efficiency, and reliability
• Implement measurement frameworks and observability tooling to maintain product quality standards
• Monitor competitive landscape and translate insights into differentiation strategies and product gaps
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and developer relations on pricing, packaging, launch campaigns, and enablement
• Produce clear written communication, including public-facing content explaining product decisions and capabilities

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of product management experience in developer tools, data infrastructure, or AI/ML products
• Hands-on experience building or shipping products using large language models and agentic workflows
• SQL proficiency and comfort working with analytical databases to query product data independently
• Strong written communication skills with ability to drive cross-functional alignment
• High ownership mentality with bias toward pragmatic scoping and iterative shipping
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders

Preferred:

• Experience with LLM observability, evaluation frameworks, or inference infrastructure
• Background pricing usage-based or token-based products
• Prior work on open source products or with open source communities
• Understanding of database systems and data processing pipelines
