Werkstudent:in (m/w/d) Technical Writing & Knowledge Management – SaaS & Conversational AI

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential conversational AI organization based in Hamburg that is looking for a working student to join their technical writing and knowledge management team. This is a flexible, part-time position (Werkstudent) starting in October/November 2026, available either in Hamburg or remotely within the DACH region.

Our client builds intelligent chatbot solutions that automate customer service and sales for enterprise clients. Responsibilities

• Create and maintain help center articles, in-app guides, and microcopy in both German and English, translating complex product features and releases into clear, user-friendly documentation
• Work with agentic AI workflows to draft, translate, and maintain content, and contribute to developing these workflows further
• Manage and optimize the knowledge base for the client's own support chatbot, reviewing responses and continuously improving its performance
• Develop the help center as a central knowledge database: structure categories, navigation, and ensure information is quickly findable for users
• Collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to gather input and create documentation that serves as part of the product experience itself
• Establish and maintain terminology, tone of voice, and formatting guidelines to ensure consistency across all content
• Monitor article ratings, search behavior, and support ticket trends to measure and demonstrate the impact of your work

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program—ideally Technical Writing, Linguistics, Communication Studies, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable field
• Native-level German and very strong English (B2 level minimum)
• Natural ability to explain complex technical concepts precisely and clearly for different audiences—writing is something you genuinely enjoy
• Strong curiosity about SaaS products, B2B software, and conversational AI technologies
• Structured, self-directed working style with genuine interest in taking ownership of your domain
• Nice to have: experience with Markdown, HTML, Git, or agentic AI tools (such as Claude); familiarity with documentation/CMS tools (Zendesk Guide, Notion, Confluence) or design tools (Figma, Snagit)

Pay
