Senior Backend Developer (Python)

About the Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Senior Backend Developer with deep Python expertise. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is conducting the search for this fully remote position, open to candidates worldwide who can work within CET timezone (+/- 3 hours).

This is a full-time remote role where you'll architect and build scalable backend systems using modern Python frameworks and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable, efficient libraries and frameworks that can be leveraged across multiple projects
• Design and implement low-latency, high-performance applications that scale
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members and stakeholders across technical and business functions
• Implement robust data protection and security systems
• Architect and manage data storage solutions that meet performance and reliability requirements

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience building production applications with Python and Django
• High proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience using PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Cloud infrastructure management experience with AWS or GCP
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tooling
• Experience scaling infrastructure with Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
• Commitment to best practices, coding standards, and established conventions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills
• Strong communication abilities with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Availability within CET timezone (+/- 3 hours) – this is a firm requirement
