Senior Affiliate Manager (Full Remote – Portugal)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology company experiencing exceptional global growth. Our talent team is searching for a Senior Affiliate Manager to join their fully remote organization. This role reports directly to the Head of Partnerships and focuses on scaling affiliate relationships, optimizing performance, and driving user acquisition across international markets.

This is a full-time, remote position based in Portugal. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in affiliate marketing, proven analytical capabilities, and comfort working in fast-moving, high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing affiliates, providing consistent support and strategic guidance
• Oversee onboarding processes for new affiliate partners, ensuring smooth program integration
• Monitor affiliate performance metrics including traffic, conversions, and ROI through comprehensive reporting
• Analyze campaign results to identify optimization opportunities and scaling potential
• Research and recruit new affiliates and business partners to expand network reach
• Troubleshoot affiliate-related technical and operational issues with timely resolutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored affiliate funnels that maximize conversion rates
• Continuously review and improve processes to enhance affiliate communication and program efficiency

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in affiliate marketing and program management
• Proficiency with affiliate marketing platforms and tracking networks
• Strong analytical capabilities with data-driven decision-making experience
• Advanced knowledge of digital marketing tactics across multiple channels (SEO, media buying, paid social)
• Advanced competence with tools such as Everflow, Looker Studio, SEMrush, and reporting systems
• Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis and performance reporting
• Perfectly fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Goal-oriented mindset with demonstrated ownership and commitment
• Execution-focused approach that balances speed with strategic planning
• Adaptability and comfort with rapid reprioritization
• Openness to feedback and continuous learning
• Comfort working with adult-oriented digital products

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with complex affiliate tracking systems including postback S2S setup and ad servers
• Track record resolving affiliate disputes, tracking issues, fraud detection, and volume challenges
• Previous experience scaling affiliate programs from mid-size to enterprise level
• Knowledge of funnel optimization strategies and A/B testing methodologies
• Experience with subscription-based business models
• Familiarity with fraud prevention techniques and tools
