As their recruiting partner, Get A Job.ai is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join a modern Sales Engineering function in the United Kingdom. This role combines technical depth with customer partnership, helping organizations solve complex technology and organizational challenges across talent solutions, AI-enabled delivery, and learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and qualification sessions with business and technical stakeholders to understand objectives, environments, constraints, and desired outcomes
• Develop solution recommendations covering architecture, scope, delivery models, team structures, technical requirements, timelines, risks, and dependencies
• Provide technical depth throughout the sales process through architecture discussions, presentations, demonstrations, workshops, prototypes, and RFP responses
• Partner with delivery and specialist teams to validate proposed approaches and ensure opportunities are properly scoped before commitments
• Contribute to evolving sales engineering methodology, including technical assessments, AI-assisted qualification tools, discovery frameworks, and internal automation
• Transform field insights into reusable playbooks, technical content, solution patterns, and improved sales-to-delivery handoff processes
• Bring customer voice back into the organization, identifying patterns that can enhance offerings and go-to-market approaches

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of professional experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Solution Architecture, technical consulting, professional services, engineering leadership, or similar customer-facing technical roles
• Strong technical fluency across modern software development, cloud architecture, data platforms, APIs, and AI-enabled systems
• Proven ability to independently lead technical discovery and translate ambiguous business problems into practical solutions
• Experience evaluating architecture, technical tradeoffs, dependencies, risks, and delivery considerations
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills with ability to engage both senior business stakeholders and deeply technical audiences
• Track record working cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, Product, Engineering, or related teams
• Familiarity with modern AI technologies including generative AI, LLM-based applications, agents, retrieval systems, or AI-assisted development platforms
• Comfort experimenting with technical tools, APIs, automation, and prototypes (strong technical curiosity essential)
• Builder mindset with comfort operating in evolving environments where processes and offerings are still being developed
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with managed services, technical assessments, training enablement, application modernization, data engineering, or enterprise technology solutions is valued
