About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential performance marketing agency based in Düsseldorf that specializes in creating high-converting social media advertising content. Our talent team is seeking a Video Cutter / Editor with a focus on social ads to join their creative production team.

This role is central to their workflow: you'll be transforming scripts and raw creator content into polished video ads optimized for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Creative performance drives up to 80% of their clients' results, so your editing decisions directly impact campaign success.

You'll work closely with copywriters, content creators, and creative strategists to deliver scroll-stopping ads that balance creative freedom with data-driven structure.

Responsibilities

• Edit and cut video ads for social media campaigns, shaping raw footage into performance-optimized final products
• Follow provided scripts while maintaining creative flexibility and injecting fresh ideas into each execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new approaches and creative treatments for video ads across social platforms
• Work within Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily Premiere Pro) to produce polished, client-ready deliverables
• Stay current with social media trends and platform best practices to inform editing decisions

What We're Looking For

• Strong to excellent video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite
• Native-level fluency in German (required for this role)
• Active social media user with genuine knowledge of current platform trends and content that performs
• Flexible mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and skill development
• Portfolio or work samples showcasing previous editing projects
