Senior Magento Developer

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Senior Adobe Commerce Developer to architect and build enterprise-grade solutions. This is a fully remote role open to candidates located within CET timezone (±3 hours).

We are looking for a growth-oriented professional who brings deep technical expertise in Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce and is passionate about developing cutting-edge commerce experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Adobe Commerce solutions for both Cloud and On-premise environments
• Lead the transition from core overrides to out-of-process extensibility using App Builder and API-first methodologies
• Optimize backend performance, SQL queries, and caching strategies (Redis, Varnish, Fastly) to handle high-traffic scenarios
• Develop and maintain modern frontends using Hyvä, PWA Studio, or traditional Luma, with focus on Core Web Vitals optimization
• Build and manage complex integrations with third-party ERP, CRM, and PIM systems via event-driven architecture
• Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor mid-level developers, and maintain high standards for test-driven development and automated testing

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce, including B2B and Cloud editions
• Strong proficiency in PHP 8.x, MySQL, and specialized search technologies like OpenSearch/Elasticsearch or Adobe Live Search
• Expert knowledge of GraphQL, REST APIs, and building decoupled commerce experiences
• Solid experience with Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js (for Hyvä), or React (for PWA Studio)
• Familiarity with Adobe Commerce Cloud (ECE), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines)
• Adobe Certified Professional/Expert/Master (Developer) is a significant plus
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills
• Location within CET timezone (±3 hours) is required
