About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client in the nuclear decommissioning sector. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) to lead innovation projects involving advanced digital solutions at nuclear facilities across Germany. This role is based in Ulm with nationwide travel requirements.

Our client leverages cutting-edge AI and 3D scanning technologies to transform how industrial facilities approach decommissioning. As Project Manager, you will bridge technical expertise in nuclear operations with modern digitalization initiatives, ensuring seamless implementation of sophisticated software solutions in highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead digitalization projects focused on decommissioning of nuclear facilities, managing technical implementation of AI-supported software applications at power plant locations
• Coordinate with technical departments, radiation protection teams, and plant security to ensure all regulatory requirements and approval processes for nuclear installations are met
• Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, subject matter experts, and end users; drive adoption of technical solutions in challenging environments
• Plan and deliver training sessions and workshops to facilitate integration of new technologies into daily nuclear industry operations
• Proactively identify and resolve project challenges while collaborating closely with user teams to advance improvements and innovations
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines; conduct meetings directly at nuclear facility sites
• Support business development through technical consulting and proposal preparation

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience as an engineer or project manager in nuclear or nuclear-technical facilities, particularly with focus on decommissioning, maintenance, or revision work
• Strong knowledge of legal, safety-technical, and organizational aspects of nuclear technology
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to lead complex projects in the nuclear sector with changing team compositions
• Self-directed, structured work approach with willingness for nationwide deployment across Germany
• Experience working with regulatory authorities and assessors is desirable but not required
