Position Overview

We are representing a confidential engineering consultancy in Hamburg seeking a Technical Systems Designer specializing in electrical engineering. Our client plans electrical installations across diverse project types including healthcare facilities, commercial buildings, residential developments, administrative buildings, airports, and aquatic centers. You will work on projects from initial concept through execution, focusing on energy-efficient systems using current technology standards.

Responsibilities

• Create design, permit, and construction drawings for electrical systems
• Develop electrical schematics and technical diagrams
• Independently assign circuit numbers, signal groups, and similar designations
• Design and model electrical systems in 3D using BIM methodology
• Perform lighting calculations using industry-standard software
• Plan electrical installations (cost group 440) and communication/security/IT systems (cost group 450) across all HOAI service phases 1-9

What We're Looking For

• Independent, proactive, and creative working approach
• Strong collaborative skills for working within a dynamic technical team
• Excellent communication skills and client-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in AutoCAD LT (required)
• Experience with 3D CAD platforms such as Revit or DDS-CAD is highly valued
• Lighting design software knowledge (Dialux) is beneficial but can be learned on the job
• Technical systems design training or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering
