Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Head of Product, Conversations. This is a senior product leadership role overseeing a core product suite used daily by thousands of support professionals. You'll own vision, strategy, roadmap, and revenue growth for two interconnected product lines: a workspace where support teams manage all customer conversations, and an AI assistant that makes every interaction faster and better.

This is a player/coach role reporting to the Chief Product Officer. You'll do hands-on strategic product work while building and managing a team of product managers as the group scales. The products you own are the most-used surfaces in the platform—where speed, reliability, and craft are the differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and strategy for the product group, determining how the workspace and AI capabilities evolve together as one seamless experience
• Drive the workspace roadmap hands-on: the hub where every support channel converges and teams spend their workday, held to a high bar for performance and polish
• Drive the AI assistant roadmap: integrations, contextual summaries, suggestions, and real-time help that meaningfully improve support team productivity
• Own monetization strategy across seat-based and usage-based models, designing packaging that increases value as AI capabilities expand
• Partner closely with the team building autonomous AI agents, co-owning product surfaces and ensuring handoffs between automation and human support are invisible to end users
• Spend significant time with customers understanding how support professionals and leaders work, where AI adds value, and where friction exists
• Collaborate with go-to-market and customer success teams to ensure clear positioning, smooth adoption, and effective feedback loops
• Build and manage the product management team as it grows, coaching for judgment and raising the craft bar across the group

What We're Looking For

• Experience owning a core product at scale—the kind people use all day—with fluency in both product strategy and commercial dynamics
• Track record shipping AI-powered products with understanding of how they succeed and fail in practice
• Strong collaboration skills across ownership boundaries, able to co-own surfaces with peers and maintain seamless customer experiences
• Outcome-oriented thinking focused on metrics like resolution time, AI draft acceptance rates, and team efficiency gains
• Deep commitment to craft: you notice and prioritize the details that make daily-use software feel fast, calm, and reliable
• Strong monetization instincts with ability to package products spanning seats and outcomes while explaining tradeoffs clearly
• Experience managing product managers while remaining hands-on; you know when to coach and when to decide
• Data self-sufficiency: you pull your own analyses and use numbers to pressure-test direction
• Technical fluency sufficient to build trust with engineers and contribute meaningfully to architecture conversations
• Active use of AI tools as part of your craft for research synthesis, strategy testing, prototyping, and signal analysis, with a point of view on how these tools are reshaping product work
• Understanding that when execution becomes easier, judgment becomes the constraint—you focus your highest-leverage hours on strategy and prioritization
• Excellent writing skills: you make thinking visible through clear one-pagers, briefs, and narratives that drive decisions
• B2B SaaS experience with understanding of building for business teams versus consumer audiences
