Developer – Fokus Secure Software (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software development organization based in Nuremberg that specializes in custom IT solutions from conception to rollout. As part of our talent team at Get A Job.ai, we're seeking a Developer with a focus on Secure Software Development to join their collaborative engineering team.

This role centers on building modern, secure software solutions while championing security as a core principle of the development process. You'll work on real-world client projects while also contributing to cross-functional security initiatives that shape how the organization approaches application security.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern, secure software solutions in cloud and web environments using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, or Python
• Write clear, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities
• Design new features and coordinate with stakeholders on technical requirements
• Support cross-project secure software development initiatives including secure coding practices, security best practices, and application security risk analysis
• Develop and implement appropriate security measures and mitigation strategies
• Build internal security awareness and knowledge across the organization
• Explore current topics such as secure development and deployment of AI systems and LLMs
• Drive security initiatives forward with ownership and strategic thinking

What We're Looking For

• Passion for software development and IT security
• Professional experience in software projects with understanding of modern development practices
• Experience in DevSecOps, IT security, secure coding, or application security (whether you're building this expertise or have already deepened it)
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Angular, databases, CI/CD, cloud technologies, and generative AI is beneficial
• Curiosity, collaborative mindset, and enthusiasm for knowledge sharing
• German language skills at B2 level minimum for client and team communication
