Full Stack Software Engineer – AI Finance Agent

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech organization expanding its AI-powered financial services platform across multiple markets. We're seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their UK-based product engineering team working on consumer-facing financial applications.

This is a hybrid role based in the United Kingdom, requiring at least 3 days per week in the office. You'll be building across the entire stack—frontend interfaces, backend systems, internal tooling, and operational dashboards—shipping features that directly impact customers using financial services products.

Responsibilities

• Build customer-facing and internal product features end-to-end across web, APIs, and admin systems
• Develop web flows, backend services, operational dashboards, and business tools
• Support products spanning multiple financial service categories including payments, savings, and related consumer applications
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, and operations teams to deliver features rapidly
• Integrate third-party APIs, manage data flows, and maintain production system reliability
• Use analytics, user feedback, and production metrics to iterate and improve shipped features
• Create internal tools that reduce manual operational overhead and increase team velocity

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of full stack software engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in both frontend and backend development
• Hands-on experience with modern web frameworks, RESTful APIs, databases, and production systems
• Ability to build functional products quickly from incomplete specifications
• Solid product intuition, UX awareness, and attention to detail
• Comfortable debugging issues across the entire technology stack
• Experience in fintech, insurtech, marketplace platforms, consumer applications, or high-volume systems is strongly preferred
• Product-minded mindset: ability to turn rough requirements into working features while considering user flow, backend logic, and business processes together
• Ownership mentality from initial build through launch and post-launch support
• Strong English communication skills for collaboration with global teams

This role is not suitable for: engineers who prefer working on a single layer of the stack, developers who require complete specifications before beginning work, those who avoid production support responsibilities, or candidates who cannot demonstrate concrete shipped work.
