Customer Support Advisor – Fixed-Term Contract

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fitness technology client seeking a Customer Support Advisor for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Australia. This is a fully remote position open to candidates with Australian working rights.

Our client serves gyms, leisure centres, and fitness studios globally, providing technology solutions and payment capabilities. As Customer Support Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for end consumers—the individual members of fitness facilities—helping them with account queries, payment contracts, and service-related matters across Australia and New Zealand.

This role offers 100% work-from-home flexibility anywhere in Australia and is ideal for someone motivated by helping others and building lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, emails, and chat messages promptly with a high first-time resolution rate
• Manage communications from clients and their customers relating to service contracts
• Resolve first-line customer queries about accounts, payment contracts, and contractual relationships
• Report complex issues and escalate where necessary to the Contact Support Team Leader
• Engage with customers regarding overdue balances and collections in line with relevant policies
• Identify, track, and resolve queries using the query management system
• Accurately record all activity and communications in internal administration systems
• Update internal and external systems and tools as required
• Follow defined scripts and directions around support or payment negotiation
