About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization expanding its mobile-first platform across Southeast Asia. Our client is building next-generation financial applications that help millions access smarter banking, insurance, payments, and investment tools. They operate with distributed teams across 20+ nationalities and are known for shipping fast, iterating quickly, and solving real customer problems at scale.

We're seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their product engineering team in the Philippines. This is a remote role for someone who thrives on building complete features—from UI to database—and turning ambiguous product needs into shipped solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship complete product features spanning frontend interfaces, backend APIs, and database layers
• Design and implement customer-facing and internal workflows including onboarding flows, account management, payment systems, rewards programs, support automation, and compliance processes
• Translate unclear product requirements into working systems with intuitive user experiences and reliable backend logic
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, mobile developers, backend engineers, and AI teams to launch features quickly and iterate based on usage
• Create internal tools and automation to reduce manual operations and enable the team to scale efficiently
• Monitor production systems, debug issues, gather feedback, and continuously improve released features

What We're Looking For

• Proven full stack engineering experience with demonstrable shipped products in production environments
• Comfortable working across the entire stack: frontend frameworks, backend services, RESTful APIs, database design, and production troubleshooting
• Strong frontend development skills using modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or similar technologies
• Solid backend fundamentals including API design, data modeling, authentication systems, third-party integrations, and building for reliability
• Product mindset with ability to simplify complex user workflows and make sound UX decisions
• Ability to move quickly in ambiguous environments and take full ownership of outcomes from concept through post-launch support
• Strong English communication skills for collaborating with global, distributed teams
• Currently based in the Philippines
