Legacy Electronics & Media Systems Technician

Heirloom is seeking a dedicated Legacy Electronics & Media Systems Technician to join our team in Mount Pleasant, SC. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with classic and vintage electronic equipment, helping preserve and restore irreplaceable technology.

Role Overview

As a Legacy Electronics & Media Systems Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vintage and older electronic systems and media equipment. Your expertise in electronics and media technology will be essential as you work to restore functionality to devices that many consider invaluable. Whether you're troubleshooting analog broadcast gear, vintage audio systems, or classic media playback equipment, your technical knowledge will directly impact the success of our restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing and component-level repair on legacy electronic systems and vintage media equipment
• Document equipment condition, repair procedures, and restoration outcomes with precision and attention to detail
• Identify and source replacement components compatible with older electronics
• Collaborate with team members on complex restoration projects involving multiple systems or technologies
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience repairing or maintaining electronic equipment, vintage media systems, or related technology
• Strong understanding of analog electronics, circuit analysis, and component identification
