Sr. Analyst, Workforce Analytics

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Senior Analyst for their Workforce Analytics function. In this hands-on role, you will:

• Partner with HR, Finance, Technology, and business leaders to understand workforce challenges and translate them into data and reporting needs
• Lead complex workforce analyses using statistical models and advanced analytics to assess key HR metrics, forecast trends, and support strategic decision-making
• Own workforce reporting and analytics solutions end-to-end—from consultation and scoping through requirement definition, build, validation, and delivery
• Transform data findings into clear, compelling narratives that drive strategic decision-making
• Ensure data integrity by leading quality efforts, verifying analysis, and maintaining high standards of precision
• Identify opportunities to enhance data systems and reporting capabilities, working closely with Technology and other stakeholders
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to analysts
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in workforce analytics and data science

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in technical, quantitative, or business-focused fields (Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field)
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related role
• Familiarity with HR/HCM data structures required
• 2+ years hands-on experience with HCM report and dashboard design and development
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong ability to apply statistical models, forecasting techniques, and workforce analytics methodologies
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with proven ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for senior leaders
• Strong analytical mindset with expertise in project management, stakeholder management, critical thinking, and problem-solving

Strongly Preferred:

• Experience in workforce/people analytics
• Oracle HCM experience

• Consultative problem-solving—ability to work through ambiguous problems, ask the right questions, identify root causes, and develop solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively across HR, Finance, Technology, and business teams
• Data storytelling and communication—ability to translate complex data into clear insights, recommendations, and compelling narratives
• Ownership and resourcefulness—proactive, hands-on approach to investigating issues, navigating gray areas, and driving problems through resolution
