Ingénieur d’affaires confirmé/Senior Account Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential automotive technology firm seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive growth in the French market. In this role, you will:

• Manage and develop a portfolio of key French accounts, creating account plans and dedicated commercial strategies while building strong client relationships
• Own an annual sales quota and forecast accurately using CRM tools
• Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client ecosystems, applications, and evolving needs in the automotive engineering space
• Coordinate technical solution definitions with cross-functional engineering teams and prepare commercial proposals (sales and maintenance) aligned with pricing policies
• Collaborate with extended sales teams on global accounts
• Oversee the full sales cycle from quotation and contract drafting through to invoicing
• Represent the organization at trade shows, events, and industry working groups

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree (BAC+5) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, business engineering, or equivalent; dual degree with commercial focus is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience selling complex software and/or engineering solutions, preferably in the automotive sector, with a proven track record of meeting targets
• Experience negotiating multi-year contracts and managing senior-level client relationships
• Excellent interpersonal skills: client-focused, curious, rigorous, with high integrity and autonomy
• Strong technical interest in numerical simulation and passion for the automotive industry and its transformations
• Availability for frequent travel within France (valid French driver's license required) and occasional international travel
• Fluent in French and English

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are based on experience. The role includes base salary plus variable compensation and a company vehicle.
