About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential dental technology organization that serves practices across Germany. Our talent team is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join their operations in Munich. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern infrastructure serving a specialized healthcare vertical.

In this position, you will manage complete IT environments for professional practices, handling everything from servers and networking to security and customer support. The role combines hands-on technical work with client interaction, requiring both strong system administration skills and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support complete IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, network components, and firewalls for client sites
• Execute system migrations and configurations (Windows Server, Active Directory, industry-specific applications) ensuring smooth transitions
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, handling service cases remotely and occasionally on-site (1-2 times monthly maximum)
• Support IT projects from planning through implementation to documentation, maintaining structured project workflows
• Manage and monitor dental practice software systems, oversee system health, and document network configurations
• Deliver customer support via phone and email, assisting dental practices with day-to-day IT needs in a professional, solution-oriented manner

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in IT support, networking, and IT security, ideally from a managed service provider or systems integrator environment
• Demonstrated ability to plan, build, and manage IT infrastructures
• Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, firewalls, VPNs, backup systems, and related technologies
• Solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Valid Class B driver's license (German equivalent)
• Bonus: Previous experience with IT systems in dental or medical practice environments
• German language fluency required for client communication
