About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential legal technology client in their search for a Legal Solutions Architect with deep commercial real estate experience. This role sits at the intersection of legal expertise and technology adoption, supporting law firms and corporate legal teams as they implement AI-powered solutions into their transactional workflows.

You will work directly with partners, associates, knowledge teams, and innovation leaders—both during the evaluation phase and throughout implementation—ensuring successful adoption and tangible value delivery. This is a client-facing role requiring genuine legal credibility combined with strong commercial and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

In the pre-sales phase (approximately 40% of your time), you will:

  • Partner with sales teams to understand prospective clients' workflows, pain points, and success criteria
  • Lead discovery sessions with partners, PSLs, paralegals, and innovation stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and workshops aligned to specific practice groups and transaction types
  • Design and manage pilot programmes, including scope definition, enablement, measurement, and stakeholder management
  • Provide subject-matter expertise during commercial conversations with senior decision-makers

In the post-sales phase (approximately 60% of your time), you will:

  • Collaborate with customer success teams to onboard new accounts and practice groups effectively
  • Deliver role-based training and coach legal staff through workflow changes, adapting to different seniority levels and firm cultures
  • Identify friction points in adoption and drive practical solutions through enablement, process design, and best practices
  • Support renewals and expansion by surfacing proof points and helping clients scale usage into new matters or teams

You will also serve as the voice of the customer internally by:

  • Translating customer feedback into actionable insights for product and engineering teams
  • Partnering with marketing on practice-area-specific collateral and thought leadership content
  • Contributing to webinars, publications, and CPD sessions that reinforce market presence

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • UK-qualified solicitor or barrister currently (or very recently) practising in commercial real estate law
  • Approximately 4–8+ years PQE with credible depth of experience across commercial real estate workflows
  • Hands-on experience in areas such as acquisitions/disposals, due diligence, leasing, development, real estate finance, construction, or title reporting
  • Comfort advising senior stakeholders including partners, heads of real estate, PSL/knowledge teams, and innovation leaders
  • Ability to break down complex legal work into clear, structured steps and communicate concepts to varied audiences
  • High technical literacy and genuine curiosity about how LLM-based systems can add value in legal environments
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative startup environment where priorities evolve and ownership is expected

Nice to have:

  • Experience in legal tech, PSL/knowledge roles, innovation teams, or process improvement initiatives
  • Strong facilitation skills including workshop delivery, enablement sessions, and internal champion programmes
  • Experience supporting commercial processes such as scoping, proposals, procurement/security questionnaires, or ROI cases
  • Experience creating reusable assets: templates, checklists, playbooks, or workflow standards
