About This Opportunity
We are representing a well-funded legal technology organization in their search for a Senior Product Engineer. Our client has built an AI-powered platform that serves thousands of legal and real estate professionals across major firms. Following a recent Series B raise, they are scaling their engineering team to support rapid product expansion.
This is a hybrid role based in London (Farringdon area), requiring 1-2 days per week on-site. You'll work at the intersection of product development and AI implementation, building customer-facing features that process complex legal workflows at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship production software, delivering reliable features directly to customers
- Collaborate with a focused engineering team to design and implement new functionality
- Leverage AI coding agents to generate, iterate, and refine production-quality code
- Work across a modern stack including TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and Python
- Review and guide code produced by AI agents, ensuring quality and maintainability
- Contribute to technical design decisions and architectural patterns for new features
- Help advance engineering practices through AI-assisted development and modern tooling
What We're Looking For
- Strong conviction that AI will transform industries, with a desire to build at that frontier
- Demonstrated excellence in professional, academic, or personal pursuits
- Generalist mindset with willingness to work across product, design, and AI boundaries
- Experience building modern agentic systems or working with complex ML products
- Track record with high-growth products generating significant ARR
- Evidence of rapid career progression (e.g., junior to senior in under five years)
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated output with high technical standards
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced, high-standards environments
