Workday Lead Compensation Consultant

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking a Workday Lead Compensation Consultant to join their team in Finland. This is an opportunity to work as a lead consultant implementing and configuring Workday solutions for a global customer base while serving as a subject matter expert in Workday Compensation capabilities.

In this role, you'll manage customer relationships, shape and deliver solutions aligned to client needs, and provide expert consulting and guidance. You'll mentor team members, provide thought leadership, and contribute to innovation while building specialist knowledge across the broader Workday community.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and configuration of Workday HCM and Compensation solutions for global customers
• Manage customer relationships and expectations, intervening effectively to resolve escalations
• Assess customer needs and deliver solutions that are fit for purpose and commercially viable
• Lead large-scale workshops with multiple stakeholders and liaise confidently with senior executives
• Provide technical and professional mentorship to team members in Workday Compensation capabilities
• Present formally to senior client audiences and at industry conferences
• Participate in sales activities and provide input to work estimates
• Manage risk within your capability area
• Travel to customer sites as required within the region

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Full professional proficiency in both English and Finnish
• Proven experience with Workday HCM and Core Compensation
• Excellent customer focus with ability to build relationships and manage expectations
• Strong communication skills with ability to present to senior audiences and at conferences
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and make balanced decisions under pressure
• Strong consulting skills including leading complex workshops with diverse stakeholders
• Experience participating in sales activities and providing work estimates
• Understanding of risk management principles
• Willingness to travel to customer sites within the region

Preferred qualifications:

• Workday Compensation Certification
• 1-2 years of experience with Workday Advanced Compensation
• Experience managing, mentoring, and developing teams
• Track record of developing products or services that differentiate in the marketplace
• Experience identifying and developing talent
