About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global clinical research organization seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate with oncology expertise to join their Canadian operations. This is a remote role for candidates based in Quebec or other French-speaking regions of Canada.

As a senior CRA, you will manage research activities at clinical trial sites, working across all phases of oncology studies—from site identification and startup through maintenance and closeout. You'll conduct study initiation visits, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sites in proper data collection and safety reporting. While most work is performed remotely, regional travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage clinical research activities at participating trial sites throughout the study lifecycle
  • Identify and qualify potential sites for oncology research projects
  • Perform study start-up activities including regulatory document collection and contract/budget support
  • Conduct remote and on-site study initiation visits (SIVs)
  • Train site personnel on protocol requirements, data collection procedures, and adverse event reporting
  • Monitor ongoing site activities to ensure compliance with informed consent processes, safety reporting, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee site closeout procedures upon study completion
  • Maintain accurate documentation in CTMS and EDC systems

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate
  • Oncology therapeutic area experience required
  • 4-year university degree or Nursing Degree
  • Bilingual fluency in English and French (written and verbal) is mandatory
  • Must currently reside in Canada
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC systems
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel regionally as needed
