Scrum Master (m/w/d) – remote DE

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization in Germany seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support multiple cross-functional teams in their agile transformation. This is a remote position within Germany, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on team performance and organizational agility.

In this role, you will coach several Scrum teams, facilitate agile ceremonies, and actively contribute to building a sustainable agile culture. You'll work closely with Product Owners, management, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and remove impediments that hinder team success.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support multiple cross-functional Scrum teams to continuously improve their collaboration and performance
• Facilitate all Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Ensure agile principles and the Scrum framework are consistently applied and lived across teams
• Promote self-organization, transparency, and a culture of continuous improvement within teams
• Identify and remove impediments at both team and organizational levels
• Guide team members in adopting agile working methods and overcoming daily challenges
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, management, and stakeholders to ensure transparent communication
• Support reporting of relevant metrics and team progress
• Actively contribute to the agile Community of Practice and the development of organizational standards and best practices
• Drive initiatives to enhance team performance and agile maturity across the organization

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a Scrum Master or in a comparable agile role
• Experience coaching multiple teams simultaneously (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of agile methods and frameworks including Scrum and Kanban; familiarity with SAFe or LeSS is a plus
• Hands-on experience with agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Good understanding of software development processes and technical contexts
• Recognized Scrum certification (e.g., CSM or PSM); additional Agile Coaching qualification is advantageous
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
• Strong empathy, conflict resolution capabilities, and a structured, solution-oriented working style
• Self-reliant work approach with a hands-on mentality and comfort in dynamic, agile environments
• Fluent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
