Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential technology services organization in Germany seeking a Customer Service professional with strong technical capabilities. In this role, you will:
- Provide first- and second-level customer support via email, telephone, and ticketing systems
- Process customer orders and service requests
- Install, configure, and maintain server systems running Linux and Windows
- Plan and configure information and telecommunications systems
- Test equipment and systematically troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Administer and monitor server and network infrastructure
- Advise new and existing customers on products and services
- Support and contribute to internal and external projects
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate brings both technical expertise and customer service excellence:
- Completed vocational training as IT specialist in system integration or comparable IT qualification
- Strong knowledge of common Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS, SUSE)
- Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems preferred
- Working knowledge of PHP and HTML
- Fluent German language skills (C1 level) required for daily customer communication
- Good English language proficiency
- Experience with virtualization technologies desirable
- Familiarity with web and server management interfaces (Confixx, Plesk, Parallels Virtual Automation, VMware) advantageous
- Basic ITIL knowledge preferred
