Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential logistics technology company, is seeking a Working Student - Business Analyst to join their dynamic team in Düsseldorf. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of data analysis and strategic business development.

You will:

  • Analyze real business cases and transform data-driven questions into actionable insights that shape our client's business model
  • Drive operational excellence by tackling challenges with a data-driven and analytical approach
  • Develop and optimize models for real-time improvements across business operations
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful and sustainable solutions
  • Take initiative by challenging the status quo and rethinking processes to find better ways forward
  • Focus on either Consumer strategy (pricing, market entry, supplier strategy) or Logistics optimization (demand forecasting, route optimization, warehouse operations)

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking candidates who bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in a quantitative field such as Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Technology & Management, Business Analytics, or similar
  • Experience working in fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Demonstrated project work in data analysis
  • Consulting experience is a strong plus
  • Ability to explain complex analytical concepts clearly to various stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills that translate abstract plans into tangible information
  • Fluent English; German language skills are a plus
  • Proficiency with SQL and Python, or strong motivation to learn these tools
  • Availability for at least 16 hours per week for a minimum of 4 months
