Commercial & Analytics Projects – Mid-Level (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential e-commerce organization expanding across Europe. They are seeking a Mid-Level Commercial & Analytics Projects professional to join their Hamburg office. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives that directly impact millions of customers across multiple markets.

You'll work on high-impact projects spanning pricing, customer analytics, supply chain optimization, and commercial strategy. This is a hands-on role where you'll own problems end-to-end, build solutions yourself, and see immediate business results from your work.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic commercial and analytics projects from conception through implementation, taking full ownership of outcomes
• Identify growth opportunities and develop data-driven solutions to capitalize on them across European markets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Netherlands, Germany, and France to solve complex business challenges
• Build analytical models and tools using SQL and Python to drive decision-making at scale
• Translate complex analytical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
• Move quickly from analysis to execution, testing ideas and iterating based on real-world results
• Work on diverse topics including pricing strategy, assortment optimization, customer lifetime value, logistics, and supply chain

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Econometrics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field
• 2-5 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or commercial roles in retail/e-commerce
• Hands-on deal experience and demonstrated ability to drive business results
• Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in SQL and Python (or eagerness to learn)
• Out-of-the-box thinking with a hands-on, nothing-is-impossible approach
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English
• Ability to work independently, move fast, and deliver tangible outcomes in a high-performance environment
• Relentless determination and creativity in solving real-world business problems
