Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential B2B platform organization in Berlin that needs a Product Manager to own features from requirements through launch. In this role, you will be accountable for improvements within your product area, working directly with engineering teams to deliver measurable results.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing conversion data to identify where users drop off in key processes and developing solutions that demonstrably improve conversion rates
  • Managing features and enhancements from initial requirement through implementation with engineering to post-launch tracking
  • Supporting technical integration of partners and accompanying API implementations alongside engineering teams
  • Conducting regular customer interviews, systematically collecting feedback, and translating it into concrete requirements
  • Independently maintaining and prioritizing your backlog, justifying decisions with data
  • Monitoring KPIs for your features after launch and deriving next steps based on performance

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a candidate with 2–4 years of experience in product management or as a Product Owner, ideally within a digital B2B, platform, or e-commerce environment. You should bring practical experience in conversion optimization, having analyzed funnels and implemented measurable improvements.

Required qualifications:

  • Technical understanding of API integrations—you don't need to code, but you must understand engineering conversations
  • Strong analytical working style with hands-on experience using data to drive decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and self-initiative—you identify issues proactively rather than waiting for assignments
  • Strong communication abilities to explain complex topics clearly and work directly with customers
  • German at C2 level and fluent English for business negotiations
  • Solid experience with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • AI-forward approach to work, actively using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot in daily tasks

Beneficial experience:

  • Background with checkout, payment, or financing processes (e.g., BNPL)
  • Exposure to partnership management or automotive sector environments
