Senior Product Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential B2B marketplace platform in Munich for a Senior Product Manager role. You will own an entire product area end-to-end—from problem identification through solution design, launch, and measurement.

In this position, you will:

• Drive conversion optimization across the entire purchase funnel by identifying drop-off points, forming hypotheses, and validating improvements through data-driven experiments
• Build and manage API integrations with partners across financing, logistics, and ancillary services—from technical specification through rollout
• Steer product-side partnerships by evaluating which integrations drive volume, leading partner discussions, and ensuring successful implementation
• Collaborate directly with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure decisions are made with data, not opinions
• Define, track, and own the KPIs for your product area, using insights to determine next priorities

What We're Looking For

• 4–6 years of product management experience in a digital B2B marketplace, platform, or e-commerce environment
• Proven track record in conversion optimization—you can articulate specific changes you made and their measurable impact
• Hands-on experience with API integrations: you understand how systems communicate and can collaborate with Engineering at a technical level
• Experience managing product-side partnerships—selection, negotiation, technical integration, and follow-through
• Strong analytical approach: you work directly with data rather than requesting it, and make decisions based on evidence
• Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative: you identify issues before they're escalated and resolve them independently
• Strong communication abilities: you make complex topics clear for Engineering, business stakeholders, and leadership alike
• German at C2 level and professional English fluency
• Proficiency with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira and Confluence
• AI-savvy work approach—you actively use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot in your daily workflow

Advantageous experience:

• Checkout, payment, or financing processes (e.g., BNPL)
• Automotive sector or risk management contexts
