We are representing a confidential business law firm in Berlin that is building out its technology and data practice. In this Legal Specialist role, you will:
- Work on a broad range of matters relating to data protection, IT law, artificial intelligence, and digital business models
- Take ownership of clearly defined legal tasks and recurring matters that support client engagements
- Provide practical legal advice to help innovative companies navigate complex regulatory frameworks
- Support the structuring of software contracts, cloud computing arrangements, and digital innovation projects
- Collaborate closely with a specialized team on dynamic developments at the intersection of law, technology, and business
- Contribute to client work from day one with guidance from senior team members
What We're Looking For
Our client seeks a Legal Specialist with:
- Successfully completed both German State Examinations in Law (at least 18 points in total)
- Genuine interest in technology and data law, including data protection and IT/software law
- Ideally, first practical experience in tech-related legal fields
- Curiosity for technology topics such as AI, software contracts, cloud computing, and digital business models
- Enthusiasm for solving legal challenges around digital innovation
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think creatively
- Collaborative mindset and enjoyment of team-based work
- Excellent German language skills and strong English proficiency
