Senior Full Stack Developer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their remote engineering team. This is a hands-on, full-time position where you'll design, build, and scale modern web applications across both front-end and back-end systems.

You'll own features end-to-end—from user interfaces and APIs to databases, cloud infrastructure, and deployments. This role goes beyond coding: you'll shape technical decisions, improve engineering standards, mentor developers, and contribute to building scalable, reliable products.

Location: Pakistan (Remote)

Working Hours: U.S. business hours with flexibility for sprint cycles, deployments, and production support

Responsibilities

Full Stack Application Development

• Build end-to-end product features across front-end, back-end, APIs, and databases
• Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications
• Deliver clean, production-ready code aligned with engineering best practices
• Contribute to architecture discussions and long-term technical planning

Front-End Development

• Build responsive, modern interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Develop reusable component libraries and scalable UI architecture
• Manage application state using Redux, Zustand, Vuex, or Context API
• Optimize performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility

Back-End Development

• Design and build RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Develop services using Node.js, Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI), or Java (Spring Boot)
• Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and secure coding practices
• Improve application scalability and server performance

Database & Data Management

• Design and maintain databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB
• Optimize queries, indexing, and database performance
• Implement caching using Redis or Memcached
• Ensure data integrity and scalability across services

Testing & Engineering Quality

• Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests
• Work with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, and PyTest
• Maintain high code coverage and engineering standards
• Participate in peer code reviews and troubleshoot production issues

DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure

• Manage source code using Git and modern branching strategies
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Deploy applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Support containerization using Docker and serverless technologies
• Monitor production systems and application health

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Work closely with product managers and designers to deliver user-focused solutions
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through reviews and coaching
• Contribute to architecture planning and engineering standards
• Maintain technical documentation and API references

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience
• Proven experience delivering production-grade web applications
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Strong experience with Node.js, Python, or Java
• Experience building REST APIs and GraphQL APIs
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of application architecture, scalability, and software design patterns
• Strong understanding of testing, code quality, and secure web development

Preferred Experience

• Experience building SaaS platforms, enterprise software, or e-commerce applications
• Experience with microservices, serverless architecture, Docker, or Terraform
• Experience optimizing high-scale applications
• Startup or high-growth product environment experience
