Manager, Contract Negotiations

Freseniusglobal is hiring a Manager, Contract Negotiations to join our team across 2 locations. This is a full-time position working on-site with our legal and procurement teams to lead all aspects of contract negotiation and management.

The Opportunity

As Manager, Contract Negotiations, you'll take ownership of our contracting process from initiation through execution and renewal. You'll partner across business units to structure deals that protect Freseniusglobal's interests while building lasting vendor and client relationships. Your role combines legal acumen, commercial judgment, and interpersonal skill—you'll be both a strategist and a skilled negotiator who can navigate complex terms and competing priorities with confidence.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts, service agreements, and procurement terms across multiple business functions
• Assess contract risk, identify legal and business concerns, and recommend mitigation strategies to stakeholders
• Manage the full contract lifecycle including execution, compliance tracking, renewal planning, and amendment management
• Develop and refine negotiation frameworks and playbooks to standardize terms and accelerate deal closure
• Collaborate with legal counsel, procurement, finance, and operational teams to align contract terms with business objectives
• Train and mentor staff on negotiation best practices, contract review procedures, and vendor relationship management
• Monitor vendor and client performance against contractual obligations and manage disputes or amendments as needed

What You Bring

• 5+ years of contract management, procurement, or legal experience with demonstrated success in complex negotiations
• Strong working knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, liability frameworks, and compliance requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts in business terms
• Proven ability to negotiate win-win outcomes under deadline pressure and with competing stakeholder interests
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency with contract management software, MS Office, and ability to learn internal systems quickly
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
