Occupational Therapist – Greenwich, CT

Foxrehab is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Greenwich, Connecticut. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes through evidence-based therapeutic interventions and personalized rehabilitation planning.

Position Summary

As an Occupational Therapist with Foxrehab, you will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to clients of varying ages and conditions. You will conduct functional assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver skilled occupational therapy to help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care in our Greenwich location.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities through standardized and non-standardized assessment tools
• Design and implement customized occupational therapy treatment programs addressing activities of daily living, mobility, and functional independence
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physical therapists, physicians, social workers, and nursing staff
• Modify the environment and recommend adaptive equipment or assistive devices to support patient safety and independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies for functional improvement
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust intervention strategies as clinically indicated

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Connecticut
• Passing score on the Occupational Therapy Examination (NBCOT)
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification
• Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Experience working in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting preferred
