Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Specialist (gn)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential international organization seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Specialist to join their team in Hamburg. In this role, you will serve as the central interface between business departments and IT, with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing business requirements and translating them into practical ERP solutions
• Taking technical responsibility for the development and evolution of Business Central, including prioritizing requirements and optimization initiatives
• Managing customizations, international rollouts, and implementation projects
• Identifying opportunities for digitalization and optimization of business processes
• Collaborating closely with key users, functional departments, and stakeholders across the organization
• Developing automation solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps
• Driving continuous improvement of the ERP system landscape

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a candidate with:

• A degree or apprenticeship in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a comparable ERP system
• Experience in a shaping role such as Product Owner, Key User, or In-house Consultant
• Strong understanding of business processes and their digital representation
• The ability to structure requirements and translate them into sustainable solutions
• Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for working with diverse stakeholders
• An analytical, structured, and practice-oriented working style
• Very good German and English language skills

This position offers a hybrid work model in Hamburg or fully remote work within Germany with occasional travel to Hamburg, along with flexible working hours, 30 vacation days, and extensive professional development opportunities.
