Principal Product Manager, Telematics & Connected Ecosystem

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a well-funded SaaS company in the fleet management space. They're seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead their telematics and connected-vehicle data strategy from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to build a new product line and business unit with significant company backing and strategic importance.

This role will own the end-to-end vision for how real-time vehicle data flows into the platform and becomes actionable intelligence for customers. You'll work at the intersection of product strategy, partnership development, and technical execution—building everything from hardware relationships to customer-facing experiences.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for telematics and connected-vehicle data end-to-end, from data ingestion through product experiences
• Define and execute the connected hardware strategy, including white-label and OEM device partnerships
• Establish data partnerships with telematics providers, OEMs, and connected-vehicle data sources
• Lead 0→1 discovery and delivery of new capabilities: live fleet visualization, location intelligence, geofencing, vehicle health insights, and sensor data
• Build and manage strategic partner and ecosystem relationships, serving as a credible product leader externally
• Standardize incoming data so it's trustworthy, comparable, and actionable across the platform
• Partner with Design to create intuitive, coherent connected experiences
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on positioning, launches, packaging, and adoption strategies
• Turn this technical product into a scaled business through effective monetization and go-to-market execution

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years in product management, shipping and scaling modern B2B SaaS products
• Proven track record owning technically complex product areas end-to-end
• Experience leading ambiguous 0→1 initiatives with measurable company impact and high autonomy
• Direct experience with telematics, connected-vehicle, OEM, or IoT/connected-device data and the products built on top of it
• Experience building and managing strategic partner or ecosystem relationships
• Track record of scaling a technical product into a business through packaging, monetization, and go-to-market strategy
• Experience with hybrid product-led growth and sales-led growth motions
• Strategic, analytical, and data-informed decision-making approach
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Design, Computer Science, or relevant field

Preferred experience:

• Background in fleet, automotive, transportation, mobility, or vertical SaaS
• Experience with hardware or device products, or white-label/OEM hardware relationships
• Knowledge of location and geospatial data, mapping, or real-time streaming data at scale
• Experience with marketplace, multi-sided, or platform business models
