Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a fast-growing SaaS organization backed by private equity. This company operates a unified platform serving thousands of enterprise clients globally, and they're scaling rapidly across multiple markets. We're searching for an FP&A Manager to own the financial planning and forecasting function end-to-end.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role reporting to the VP of FP&A. You'll serve as the technical expert in revenue forecasting, expense planning, and variance analysis—working directly with business partners to deliver clarity on financial performance and strategic drivers.

Responsibilities

You will own the full financial planning cycle and serve as the analytical backbone for executive decision-making:

• Own revenue (ARR) forecasting methodology and drive monthly reforecasting cycles
• Build and maintain annual operating plan financial models; consolidate departmental expense submissions and construct bottom-up expense forecasts
• Model headcount planning and operating expense plans across all departments
• Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to stress-test business drivers and assumptions
• Deliver detailed monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis with clear root-cause narratives and recommended actions
• Lead drafting of board reporting materials, including financial narratives, charts, and commentary on key results
• Partner with business leaders to understand performance drivers and provide targeted analytics support
• Communicate headcount status and available compensation dollars to department leaders
• Collaborate with Accounting and Controller teams to support timely and accurate financial close
• Identify and drive improvements to forecasting accuracy, process efficiency, and reporting workflows

What We're Looking For

Technical & Analytical Expertise:

• 5+ years owning financial planning and forecasting processes end-to-end—you've built the models, not just executed someone else's framework
• Expert-level Excel modeling skills: you build complex, scalable financial models from scratch and optimize for accuracy and insight
• Hands-on experience using Claude or similar AI tools to augment financial modeling, reporting, and presentation work
• Strong SaaS financial acumen including ARR modeling, churn dynamics, cohort analysis, and unit economics
• NetSuite experience or demonstrated ability to rapidly master financial systems
• Comfort with data exploration; SQL familiarity is a plus
• Deep understanding of business drivers and their strategic implications

Execution & Mindset:

• Proven track record of owning financial planning work end-to-end with accountability for accuracy and timeliness
• Proactive problem-solver who identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements without prompting
• Ownership mentality: you see challenges and own solutions from start to finish
• Experience in high-growth or PE-backed environments

Location & Work Authorization:

• Strong preference for candidates located in Austin, Texas to work hybrid (2 days per week) at the downtown headquarters
• Currently not hiring in: Alaska, California, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, or Wyoming
