Senior Frontend Developer – React.js (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential hospitality technology client seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join their expanding team in Berlin. Our client is enhancing their advanced commerce platform and needs an experienced React developer to help build elegant web applications that empower businesses across multiple markets.

In this role, you'll join a collaborative squad focused on improving the backoffice platform, making it seamless for merchants to onboard, configure, and manage their operations—regardless of business size or complexity.

Responsibilities

• Build new features and creative workflows for an omnichannel product alongside a talented engineering team
• Design and develop beautiful, functional web applications using modern frontend technologies
• Split time between developing new features and supporting existing partner integrations, with emphasis on new feature development as the platform expands into new markets
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Platform Teams
• Participate in daily agile ceremonies and brainstorm innovative solutions that challenge the status quo
• Champion code quality and ownership while contributing to infrastructure health
• Share knowledge and best practices to elevate team performance and drive continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS
• Solid experience with React.js, Next.js, or similar modern frameworks
• Deep understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues
• Experience developing backend-for-frontend layers
• Familiarity with end-to-end testing (Cypress) and maintaining high coding standards
• Strong English communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience building mobile-first applications
• Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructures
• A keen eye for UI/UX design
