About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential video analytics software company in their search for a Working Student Application Software Engineer in Munich. This is an excellent opportunity for a currently enrolled student to gain hands-on experience bridging customer needs with technical implementation in a fast-growing tech environment.
You'll work closely with both customer-facing teams and engineering to help translate real-world use cases into product improvements, while gaining exposure to modern development practices and AI-assisted workflows.
Responsibilities
- Assist in engaging with customers to understand their technical requirements and use cases
- Work with engineering teams to help translate customer feedback into actionable product requirements
- Support sales and engineering during technical workshops, product demonstrations, and customer onboarding
- Investigate new feature opportunities based on user data and customer feedback
- Provide hands-on technical support to bridge the gap between customer needs and product capabilities
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field (at least 2 semesters remaining)
- Practical experience with SQL, Python, and working with APIs/SDKs (through projects, internships, or coursework)
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset focused on user support
- Fluency in both English and German (minimum C1 level required)
- Availability to work up to 20 hours per week during semester (flexible during breaks)
Valued additional experience:
- Familiarity with Docker or Linux environments
- Understanding of Computer Vision or AI applications
- Experience in startup or fast-paced tech environments
- Proficiency with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor)
- Strong foundation in Git version control and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
