About This Position
As our Guest Services Associate / Front Desk Agent at WorldMark Moab Resort, you'll be the first and last point of contact for guests staying with us. You'll work full-time on a rotating schedule to ensure the front desk operates smoothly throughout each day. This role combines customer service excellence with operational attention to detail, giving you the chance to make every guest's Moab vacation memorable while managing check-ins, check-outs, inquiries, and concerns with professionalism and warmth.
What You'll Do
- Greet, welcome, and efficiently process check-ins for arriving guests
- Complete check-out procedures, process payments, and handle billing inquiries accurately
- Respond to guest requests and diplomatically resolve issues or complaints
- Answer phones, direct inquiries, and provide detailed information about resort amenities and Moab attractions
- Manage reservations, updates, and cancellations with precision
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Promote and process sales for resort services and guest upgrades
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk environment
- Follow company policies, security procedures, and guest privacy standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous guest services, hospitality, or customer-facing experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with point-of-sale and hotel management systems, or willingness to learn quickly
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional demeanor and genuine passion for hospitality
