Our talent team is representing a confidential sports media organization in their search for a Social Media Coordinator. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with a passionate audience and drive social strategy across multiple platforms.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate who can blend creativity, cultural awareness, and technical skill to engage communities through authentic, entertaining content.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive social media strategy across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok
• Create compelling visual and written content using Adobe Photoshop, Instagram Edits, and other professional tools
• Write emotionally intelligent, culturally relevant copy that resonates with the target audience
• Develop and maintain social media calendars covering both real-time events and pre-programmed content releases
• Adapt breaking news stories in engaging, relevant ways for social channels
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maximize commercial partnership value through social media
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to manage content development and timelines
• Monitor, manage, and maintain social channels and community engagement daily
• Analyze performance metrics to optimize future content strategies

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of social media experience with strong design capabilities and content creation expertise
• Deep knowledge of soccer and global soccer culture, with ability to translate this into accurate, compelling written content
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for image editing
• Advanced knowledge of Instagram Edits for video editing; Adobe Premiere experience is a plus
• Experience across pre-production, production, and post-production workflows in various formats
• Demonstrated ability to design social graphics and produce short-form videos
• Strong awareness of social media trends and cultural moments across sports and entertainment
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required to cover live sporting events
