Machine Operator – 2nd or 3rd Shift

Weir is hiring a full-time Machine Operator for 2nd or 3rd shift at our Bucyrus location. We need reliable, detail-focused professionals to operate manufacturing equipment and deliver the quality that defines our brand.

What This Role Involves

As a Machine Operator on 2nd or 3rd shift, you'll oversee precision machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role demands technical skill, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently during evening and night shifts.

What You'll Do

• Operate manufacturing machinery according to technical specifications and production orders
• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to maintain productivity and quality
• Perform setup, calibration, and routine maintenance tasks
• Inspect components and finished products against quality standards
• Document production data and report any equipment issues promptly
• Troubleshoot minor equipment problems or escalate to maintenance as needed
• Work as part of a shift team to meet production targets and deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Comfort working 2nd or 3rd shift schedules consistently
• Excellent reliability and professional work habits
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
