Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential ecommerce organization seeking a Senior Analyst to drive commercial analytics for their beauty division. In this role, you will own analytical work that helps stakeholders understand and improve commercial performance across categories and brands.
Commercial Analytics
- Own analytical projects across commercial performance, focusing on category and brand analytics while supporting pricing, promotional effectiveness, and subscription performance
- Build analysis that helps the business understand what drives commercial performance
- Develop and maintain commercial KPI reporting
- Identify commercial opportunities and risks through data
Technical Delivery
- Write and maintain SQL queries and analytical scripts
- Work with engineering teams to understand the commercial data model
- Build dashboards and reports that communicate commercial performance clearly
Stakeholder Engagement
- Present findings to commercial leadership and beauty division stakeholders
- Manage ad hoc analytical requests from buying and trading teams
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Typically 3+ years of experience in commercial analytics, trading analytics, or similar roles
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly
- Proven ability to work independently and own complex projects end-to-end
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in beauty, lifestyle, fashion, or ecommerce environments
- Experience analysing commercial performance data at the category or brand level
- Experience with Tableau, Looker, or equivalent business intelligence tools
Working at This Level
- Operates largely independently with minimal supervision
- Deep expertise in commercial analytics
- Understands how analytics connects to revenue, margin, and trading outcomes
- Applies commercial judgement to recommendations
