What This Role Involves
As our Wash Rack Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining the wash rack systems that keep our fleet and equipment in optimal working condition. Working during night shift hours, you'll ensure all vehicles and machinery are properly cleaned, inspected, and ready for daily operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety standards will directly contribute to the efficiency and longevity of our facility's assets.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate wash rack equipment to clean vehicles, containers, and machinery according to company standards
- Monitor water pressure, chemical mixing, and equipment function throughout your shift
- Inspect equipment for damage or wear and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain detailed logs of wash activities and any equipment issues
- Follow all environmental regulations and waste management protocols
- Ensure safety procedures are observed and report hazards immediately
- Keep the wash rack area clean and organized
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work night shift hours consistently
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort operating industrial equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines
- Experience in equipment maintenance, vehicle operations, or waste management preferred
